Probate and Estate Administration

A designated personal representative, or executor, must petition the probate court to begin the estate administration process. It can be overwhelming, especially as they grieve. If you or someone you love is involved in the probate process, I can help. From distributing assets to beneficiaries outlined in your will to properly reviewing final expenses, debts, taxes, life insurance, and retirement proceeds, I ensure your loved one’s wishes are followed. Probate can be time-consuming, create additional expenses, and can be stressful without professional advice and support.

Trust Administration

If you are the trustee of a trust, I work closely with you to guide your family through the administration process as smoothly as possible. A properly funded trust avoids probate, may save estate taxes, and may protect assets from creditors. From obtaining a new tax identification number for tax and accounting purposes, paying bills and final expenses, and distributing the assets to beneficiaries, I assist your trustee so your family may move forward.

I have practiced law in Stuart, Florida, since 2009. I have helped Florida clients effectively manage and protect a lifetime of assets through estate planningelder law and long-term care planning, and probate and trust administration.
